1. Unbeknownst to Mario, the cookies had been sent to the wrong recipients. Yoshi ended up getting a peck on the nose the next day due to an over-energetic Birdo, and promptly ended up with egg on his face, so to speak. Mario later learned that his great uncle had passed on, leaving him a rather lovely mansion for the plumber to inherit, although it was soon infested with Boos. And poor Luigi once again got the short end of the stick when Mario hopped off his head, New Super Mario Bros. Wii style, to grab that final Star Coin. Maybe next time he should skip dessert entirely.
