I believe this strip delves into the psyche of the individual’s own ingrained instincts weighed against one’s desire to blend in with a more evolved society. Indeed, it explores the age-old nature versus nurture conundrum in a tragic observation of irresistible desires clashing with social norms and customs like so many waves colliding with the shore.

In other news, I finally have some GOOD NEWS on the Haiti Fund! And just in time, too, as I was about ready to refund the donations. UPDATE: Wow, that was close. More issues arose but I talked to some other people and it looks like I’ll be able to donate over the phone, but it won’t process until Monday. So on Tuesday’s update I’ll be able to give more details, but know that the money will finally reach Haiti! Thanks everyone!
