“And no one could have been happier unless it would have also been Valentine’s Day…”

Unlike most Nintendo games, I like having shades of gray with the cast in BitF. The bad guys have their positive qualities and the good guys eat everything on sight. In this case, Snake finally gets his overdue comeuppance and Captain Falcon ends up with a successful date, although he’s unknowingly doomed a large portion of the world. I have a bit of a soft spot for black humor, particularly when it unfolds without malicious intent.

I’ve never really been a big fan of yellow narrative boxes if the image by itself could work just as well, but I felt they were necessary for the narration of today’s strip. Otherwise, how else would you know that walking nuclear tanks are often harder on the victims than the pilots? Heh.

So that’s that for this story! In other news, 2P START!, popular gamer webcomic and BitF guest stripper (is that the correct term..?), is ending this Thursday. We’d like to congratulate Tim and Ray for their three years of strong comics and podcasts! Also, we’ve got a little going-away present for them on Friday. But until then, make sure you don’t miss out on the final chapter of their ongoing finale.
