You didn’t think Dedede would let Kirby get away with that, did you? He’s arrived, and he’s prepared.

Today’s final panel isn’t really a punchline so much as a nod to the Phoenix Wright series’ shocking moments of someone barging in to turn the trial on its head. What I’ve enjoyed about these storylines is that I can throw out smaller gags incrementally instead of having a ton of emphasis on the final frame all the time. As a result, the full story can end up reading more like a short cartoon, or something along those lines.

Anyhoo, while we wait to see what the King’s up to on Friday, I’ll be spending some of my days toying around with the idea of royalty, myself–through Little King’s Story.
