And so we’ve come to the conclusion of yet another off-the-wall story. Perhaps my favorite aspect of doing these multi-part strips is getting to explore the characters just a bit more. The relationship between Kirby, Dedede, and Meta Knight is actually pretty interesting in that Kirby’s not exactly a hero, Dedede’s not exactly a villain, and Meta Knight is not exactly either. I did want to address the fact that Kirby seems a heck of a lot more well-liked than Dedede, despite the fact that both of them seem to share some uncontrollable gluttony at others’ expense.

Anyway, I’d like to extend my thanks to the BitForums for the excellent “Captain Falcon as Godot” suggestion, a likeness so fitting and obvious that I felt the need to toss it in for a single panel as a nod to the forums. Also, there were quite a few different things I wanted to do with this story but decided to stick with a solid, focused idea. Perhaps one day in the future, I’ll explore the courtroom scene again, but definitely not for awhile.

Hope you enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed making it.
